rookie---the true meaning-
dear rakus
somedays ago i read the book "trainspotting" while listening to the greatest hardcore-album of the millenium so far (aka after the eulogy).
while reading suddenly a theory blobbed into my mind: rookie is a song about heroin. i mean i never knew what the song was about, but then it was all clear to me. "give me poison dressed like live..." jeez, that's it.
is my theory right? if not tell me what the song is all about. it's one of my favourite songs, and i hate singing it, without knowing what it's about.

andy....to be honest- i don't know what the fuck Rookie is about. i've heard that song about three billion times-and it amazes me that the kids at shows know the lyrics way better than me.........but-in all honesty i'm not sure what it is really about...or who it is about..we joke about it sometimes...but i never really brought it up......i guess you could ask the guys and they would tell ya......be safe and keep listening......the new album is pretty good-rocking it right now.......................just tell them to play "empire" live cause they won't do it for me.......................
