Go Vegetable
Meat consumption is the reason why animal farming is rampant. A large percent of gases released into the environment from the greenhouses is the reason why the air you breathe has a lot of impurities. Avoiding taking meat from animals reared in an enclosed set-up is the best way to cut down carbon intake.
Where taking meat is unavoidable, take meat from naturally-fed animals since natural pasture is friendly to the environment. On top of that, soil fertility depends on droppings from naturally fed animals. In return, vegetation grows organically and naturally boosts the carbon cycle.
Animals reared in an enclosure depend on about 1,800 to 2,500 gallons of water to yield one pound of meat. That amount of water can be used to irrigate vegetables instead. Eating vegetables will discourage such animal rearing and enhance a healthy environment. Not only does this type of beef production consume a lot of water, but it also contaminates water sources. As a result, the water becomes impure for both animal and human consumption.
