Exciting News!

Guys I have some really exciting news about both the last tour in Europe and the last Philadelphia show at the Trocadero.
The idiot-savants over at elanyArts.com will be filming the ENTIRE tour in Europe and releasing it as a deluxe dvd with hopefully a whole bunch of goodies packed in. It will include shows, interviews, backstage banter, and intereaction with the fans. They will also be filming the final two shows for a different dvd...this will be a lot of fun for all of us.
also, it look like the look machine, who you can check out here and I am the Avalanche who you can check out here are confirmed fo the eighth.
can't wait to see you all soon....

Posted by: Ima pee at May 10, 2007 03:55 AM

hey guys,
five years ago, just a few days before my first bsf-show, a friend told me to learn the "in hope"-lyrics cause that is THE boysetsfire-hymn, played at every show, singed along by all the fans !

i've seen you six times since that show and never heard that song live. would be awsome if you could play it tomorrow in wiesbaden.

and if you don't, i'm sure it will be a great night anyway. i'm really looking forward to it :)

Posted by: Peter at May 10, 2007 05:49 AM

hey guys.
I've just come home from your (first satturday) gig in Germany.
I just wanted to thank you for the great show. You were absolutely amazing. And I think everyone could see how much enjoy these gigs on your last tour.
It's very sad that you split up... but I'm glad that I had the chance to see you at least once more.

Thanx for all the great music you've brought us.
Good luck for your future.
I'll always be a fan of your music. Phil.

Posted by: nanni at May 13, 2007 04:17 AM

Wonderful!
I saw camera men in Herten yesterday who weren't from MTV. So these guys must be yours! I'm sure I'll be on the DVD.
This will be great!

Posted by: FC at May 13, 2007 07:05 AM

Hi guys. I was in Wiesbaden with my little brother and we really really enjoyed the show. I'm really glad I could be there and see you guys a last time! Sadly I can't go to any of the other shows in Europe. Zurich would be great but by that time I'm far away. Keep up the great performances! Good luck to you all and I hope to hear from you another time, another place. It was a great time, the end of an era.

Posted by: daniel at May 13, 2007 05:44 PM

Great show in Belgium guys !!
Just a pity that some people needed to stand in the picture all the time..., shame on you!
I hope you'll erase these guys from the dvd !

Thanks again for everything and good look with all your future plans !
Big love!

PS: Nathan, I hope you're doing fine, cause it didn't look very good after the gig... .

Posted by: Stijn at May 14, 2007 04:44 AM

Posted by: Cadwargwen at May 14, 2007 07:26 AM

Amsterdam was great! I guess this was the best imaginable way to say bye to all the Dutch fans. It seems like the audience as well as you guys really enjoyed this last show... I sure did!

Thanks for all the years of great music! Hope to see you again someday!

Posted by: Joyce at May 14, 2007 01:50 PM

the show in belguim was great, i was dying in front, those fucking diving "kids".
i'm sure that a few people surft like more than 10 times.
at the eand, we couldn't put them up again.
Sorry for your head nathan, those fucking kids ;), a last time rookie we didn't hear in belguim.
I would go to the show in holland, but i had car problems, i hope i make it till germany

i hope you can do a jam session sometimes with "roger" our biggest airgitar player in belguim hehehe
it was funny, not for you guys, but everybody knows him, he is strange but not evil.
maybe for the DVD, an extra ;))))

Posted by: david arickx at May 14, 2007 01:51 PM

The show in Amsterdam was more than amazing. It was my first show ever and really enjoyed both getting into the pit and just singing along to all the songs. I got to shake Nathan's hand and thank him aswell, i can die happy now.

Posted by: Dutchie at May 14, 2007 02:32 PM

Hey..

there's a general concensus that agrees..

YOU GUYS NEED TO PLAY ANOTHER BADGE OF COURAGE AT THE LAST SHOW. PLEASE!

It is my FAVORITE, alot of people's FAVORITES... and well I'm traveling 3000 miles to come see you, I think it's a fair request/exchange.

You'll do it if you know what's good for you... or baton to the head... period :-)

P.S

How's the retirement plan coming? Has balding set in yet? ;-)

Posted by: H at May 14, 2007 04:00 PM

Totally agree with H.
You guys never play Another Badge of Courage. Since it's your last show and all.....

Posted by: misericorde at May 15, 2007 07:21 PM

if you're already taping why not set up a web stream for all of us with no tickets? :o

Posted by: muuki at May 16, 2007 05:28 AM

Hey guys!

I have just woken up after your yesterday concert(Vienna), and I'm very disturbed...
That was the best concert I have ever seen!!!!!!
You were more energetic and powerful than ever!
This show was amazing!!!!!!!You played almost all the best songs!!!!And you smiled, you jumped a lot!!!!!!:-))) Boys, You are fantastic!!! I was in the first raw and you were so close to me!!!!

Josh! You were so sweet!!!!I have a picture with you, that's the best memory in my life!!!!
I can't believe that I could be there.
Nathan! Don't bother those stupid guys, who don't understand your requests! You are the best!

But I'm fu*ing disturbed!!! I can't eat and I can't do anything else. Is this over??? This is unbelievable! I don't know, how can I survive?

Guys!!!
You are the best band of the world!
We love you so much and we can die for you!!!!
Good luck to you! I hope, one day you will be together again!!!!! I'm sure this will come true!!!
Thank you for everything!!!
Have a great time on the next shows!

I'm sorry for my bad English.:)

Love

Sydo, Hungary

Posted by: h2 at May 16, 2007 10:38 AM

if you're already taping why not set up a web stream for all of us with no tickets? :o

Awesome idea... if we had enough internet access to even check our email at some of the venues...

Posted by: jason at May 17, 2007 05:17 AM

i bet there will be a lot of vids at youtube soon, hopefully some of them in high quality

see you tonight at saarbrücken!

Ustedes son mi amor!!

Posted by: shelle at May 17, 2007 03:08 PM

hey guys,
the concert in Vienna was AMAZING.
Thanks for visiting Austria - we really appreciate it.
All the best for your last concerts!

Posted by: ralph at May 17, 2007 05:55 PM

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck I'm gonna miss you guys...

Just play every song from every album a few times, ok? Play until we can't stand up any longer. And then play until you can't stand either.

See you at the Troc.

Posted by: Rob at May 18, 2007 03:17 AM

Saarbrücken was totally amazing!! stood directly in the front of the stage, got a water bottle from reverend rakus, smelled the joss sticks... awesome, really really awsome... the only downer was that you didn't play "Vehicle" but damn, i heard this song already a thousand times =)

Posted by: SparkInTheNight at May 18, 2007 08:07 AM

to everyone who isn't able to wait for the dvd, there's a new vid on myspace. it's from the concert in the garage saarbrücken

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvdKxiGn7GU

when will there be the chance to get the dvd?

the show in saarbrücken was fucking awesome...like every year and every show!!! thank you guys!!!

Posted by: thorti at May 21, 2007 12:59 PM

Please tell me this will be a SOUND BOARD RECORDING. I love the DVD that was released with the last album, but the audio quality is poor. I wish I could make it so these shows...

Posted by: RGH at May 22, 2007 11:27 AM

yes we got the sound board recording of all the concerts. For the more sophisticated venues we got 24 tracks that we'll remix. But we at least got stereo recordings.

Cool, right?

Posted by: jason at May 23, 2007 07:51 PM

I am so bummed that I could not get the time off from work to make it to these shows, but knowing that I will still be able to enjoy them is just awesome! Thank you so much for doing this! You can expect me to buy a few copies--one for myself and gifts to my friends.

Very cool.
