He is also doing a musical. I think.

Posted by: Miseri at December 18, 2006 10:59 PM

The Homegrown show was awesome!

Posted by: Voltron at December 19, 2006 10:27 AM

I guess it'll never be like a boysetsfire show... and we all should not compare that!
I guess it's completely different. Just the voice is the same. ;)

Posted by: Tanja at December 20, 2006 01:07 PM

When is the bsf reunion show going to be in phili?
my sister just got into college near there, so if the dates work out then i can hopefully go.
please tell me nathan/josh/robert/chad/matt/anybody with knowledge of the date.

Posted by: Henry at December 20, 2006 03:56 PM

it's purposely very different than bsf, but very cool. It features acoustic guitar, piano, and cello. Nathan's vocals are dominant and mix with great backing vocals. The songs are slower, but all have an edge. It's a really great side project.

Posted by: Anonymous at December 21, 2006 10:23 AM

Nathan you should really get some music/vids up so us out of towners (Europe) can hear it :D Good luck with it all

Posted by: Phill at December 21, 2006 06:18 PM

Don't know if that's okay with you, Nathan, if not just delete this post:
They have a song of Nathan over at punknews.org in the mp3 of the week section.
http://www.punknews.org/mp3oftheweek

it's a live-recording, but the sound is good, and I think I like it, though I won't listen to it everyday because there are a lot of background noises.
The mp3 also includes acoustic songs by Ann Berettas Rob Huddlestone, Chuck Ragan and Tim Barry!!

Posted by: nathanbsf at December 23, 2006 05:25 PM

merry christmas guys, have a nice time! Hope you enjoy your holidays =)

and i cannot stop repeating how cool i would be to see you one last time playing in germany...yesterday i watched a few videos at youtube of rock am see festival in konstanz this year, when i saw you the first (and the last) time. it was just... amazing...

Posted by: billyx at December 24, 2006 08:11 AM

just so ya'll know. the casting out(aka the new side project) sounds nothing like bsf..just dont want anyone to expect that, and be disappointed:-)..also the last bsf show in philly should be sometime in may. we also may do 3 or 4 shows in europe around the same time, since josh was not able to play the last european tour. the casting out, should also be on a US and european tour right around the same time. busy busy busy. also, the casting out will be doing a four song demo very soon...we have aquired a drummer, and switched up some members. josh is now playing guitar. i think that is all the update i have for now...enjoy your holiday, however you go about celebrating.

Hallo ihr Lieben,
ich wünsche euch auch alles Gute zu Weihnachten.
Ich hoffe wir sehen uns alle irgrndwann nochmal auf einem boysetsfire Konzert!!!!
Liebe Grüße von Nanni

Posted by: Nanni at December 24, 2006 10:07 AM

I have a selfish favor to ask of the BSF :)
For the last show in the US could you try and make it for a Saturday PAHLEASE? For those of us traveling a couple thousand miles that work M-F. I remember the last show was supposed to be on a friday and I was crushed because I can't take time off work. But other than that, happy holidays all of ya.

Posted by: Anonymous at December 24, 2006 11:24 AM

4 europe shows, i hope you do one belguim show, maybe on groezrock that's in 27-28-29 april in belguim.
the last and only groezrock show was amazing maybe i prefere a clubshow, but what the fuck groezrock would give mutch money, and it's a very good festival, with 10.000 people from everywere just to watch some hardcore/punkg/emo... band in al little town in belguim he and it's not a clearchannel event, those fucking americans (hehehe) buy every festival en club in belguim, prices are like 40% more, and every festival is selling out, just cause they made a hype.
sorry for the large talking, just hope you can come to belguim one more time.

ah well...

Posted by: joel at January 17, 2007 08:55 AM

Absolutely insane how much BSF has progressed since I first started listening to them in 96, during the Good-Ol' High School days (God I would pay money to go back to that simple and carefree time of my life).

Nathan, I honestly have no clue if you remember me or not. Haven't spoken to you in a few years, now. If it helps, I'd BS with you after shows in Orlando back in the late 90's. Gave ya a barbell piercing ball (Or whatever the technical term for it is... black with gold sickle and hammer, lol).

Last time I talked to you was in Koln, Germany, back in I wanna say 2002 (Deconstruction Tour)- the show was booked solid, I was stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base at that time and drove up there with some other friends from base. Bouncers tried to tell us to get the hell out, I found you, you remembered me and convinced the bouncer to let us in. I remember afterwards you took me upstairs and introduced me to Sick of it All, and I ended up drinking with SOIA on their tour bus until 2 or 3AM (God damn that was a fun night).

Regardless, that's the past, and things change. I finally heard Misery Index, and I admit- it's an awesome album. You guys did a great job.

Anyhow, I hope the best for you guys. I heard about Josh's accident, and I can only say that my prayers are with him in recovery, although I don't know the specifics of what happened.

Figured I'd give you a shout while I have the opportunity since I long lost your phone number and mailing address (Actually, I think I lost both when I moved back to the States from Germany).

Once again, best of luck to you and the rest of the band in all future endeavors. I'll have to try and look you up next time I'm over on the East Coast. If you're ever bored and feel like shooting the breeze, you know how to contact me.

Cheers,
Chris

Hey, any chance of coming south of the Mason-Dixon line? Particularly northwest Tennessee? Some friends of mine have been trying to set up shows for a while, but none of the bands we email have replied back...

Posted by: Patrick Burch at January 26, 2007 09:39 PM

Shithead, I don't know what your problem is, but shut the fuck up already.
