the beautifull snuggle; stories from the heart of texas

so much has happened since last we talked, dear reader, i feel that our time together is too fleeting and i know it is my fault as well as yours and i will try harder to communicate. let's work on this together. maybe counseling? we will see.
so cali was awesome as always. it has been way too long since we have been out that way and i forgot how much i miss that giant state of vegetarian food, hippies, and leftist thought. thanks to all the friends who came out to support us we love you all and we will be back as soon as possible. we swear this. the festival at san diego state was awesome. talib was amazing.
after the glory that was california we entered the desert and crossed into.....texass.

the land of bush. where as were told by a vegan waitress who voted for bush "things are jes a little more conservative down here." everyone it seems has a story about the bush twins but they wouldn't tell because they thought it was not nice. our friends from austin used to party at the ranch and remembered the president coming into a room in his boxer shorts joking with the girls. awesome.
you know even though the greatest sprots franchise in history came from this state we are looking forward to leaving this place and heading into florida. thank god there aren't any bushed there right!
some cool news shaping up on both the europe front and the us touring front. but we cant talk about that right now. thanks for everyone coming out and saying hi we appreciate all of you.

If that news is that you are coming back west.
I will do a happy dance, don't even test me because I will.

We just got home from your show here in Dallas, TX. I'm sure you know now how bad the music scene here has gotten. But thank you guys for playing and generally being great people. It was a great show and a refreshing experience for someone who has become a little cynical about music here. Thanks again!

The show at the Knitting Factory was fantastic!
I hope you guys come back to Cali more often.
Next time just remember to play "Full Color Guilt"!

No Bushes in Fl?? Did someone assasinate Jeb while I wasn't watching! Score! See you boys in a few days... YAY! Can't wait to see you with a crowd that gets into it. Portland and Seattle was strange and calm.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you guys tonight in Houston. I have to go to a business-training seminar right before the show. So, if you see a guy looking a little out of place wearing a tie and slacks it just me, another undercover revolutionary.

you could take the tie off you know.

The LA and San Diego shows were great guys, but you played UCSD, not San Diego State....

Talib was awesome, glad you guys got to stick around long enough to see him...It just sucked that they cut him off for My Chemical Romance...

Oh sure, to the casual observer it appears as though Texas is one big dark wasteland of conservative thought populated by the afflicted known as “vegan waitresses who voted for Bush”. Next time, when you come we would be more than happy to be your personal guide through the city (this is of course, only if you get a gig in town, not 40 miles away from it). As your guide we will steer you away from the 3rd ward and into the pockets of sanity and forward thinking where the vegan waitresses cried when Howard Dean made his scream speech.

Thank you guys so much for coming out west. I was only able to catch one show because it was the middle of finals week and everywhere else was longer than a day trip, but it was still awesome to see you for the first time. You need to come back more often. How 'bout Reno and Vegas???

the show in dallas was amazing. i've been waiting 4 years to see you guys live. it almost happened at the hellfest last year that never was. there weren't many people at the show, so it was even better (at least for the audience). personal, memorable, amazing. thanks for making the show one of the best i've ever seen.
