finally
it is indeed a glorious day for us in the boysetsfire camp.
for today is the day that our new record the misery index: notes from the plague years is finally released in the usa, our home nation.
it has been a long hard slough but we did it with much help from many people.
please feel free to purchase a copy at your local record store.
peace.

BOY SETS FIRE IS MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIME!!!!! I have been a huugggeee fan of yours for years now. Ever since i heard after the eulogy when it came out, I was like DAMN!! So i got your new CD and a shirt, and the DVD, and a sweatshirt. I love the CD so fuckin much. I can't wait for you to come to New England.
My band is a huge fan of all your music, and your purpose, and message. We are all for that, guys.
No other band has been this good.
Much Love,
Brad Devins of Distilled Youth.

Hard to belive its been 3 years since our generations vietnam began. Amidst all the hardships going on in the world today its also surprising to be going out and picking up a cd from a band that has taught me not only how to rock but how to believe. The new album so far sounds amazing and am glad i once again have food for thought by some of the best around. I also am glad to see a hope that was delivered via email about 3 years ago to have boy sets fire play my hometown of des moines iowa become reality in may. till then keep fighting the good fight and ill be up front and center at the show
"but what does this mean to a little town in iowa?"---more than your think

This is a very eloquent, meaningful record...as always. Poignant and thoughtful. I look forward to your show at the social in Orlando in May. Too bad my band cannot play w/ ya, I doubt the music styles would mix well. depressing and dark coldplay or anathema/radiohead style band playing with the most influencial, intense hardcore band? Hmmmm, perhaps, but probably not! Anyway, good record!
