updates, finally! what the heck, man?
so here we go finally an update, or the State of the BSF Union Address as we shall now call it. (did anyone watch that idiot the other night? our president? i wish i could give an informed opinion but i can’t even watch him on the tv any more. i have a visceral reaction that manifests in nausea. i would rather watch battlestar galactica anyday than wach that moron blather on. to be honest i would rather watch battlestar over nearly anything. i like how he said we need to ween ourselves off oil. i got something he needs to ween himself off of. where was I? oh yeah.
bad news first. the record in america has pushed back to a march 21st release date due to an extremely unfortunate pressing mistake. this bums us out and i am sure america feels like we like her even less but i swear it is not our fault. we still love you america! kisses......
now onto the good news! the first pressing of the cd WILL include the dvd we taped in Koln Germany. we are glad that this is happening because we think the dvd is pretty cool and want as many people as possible to watch it. and it is a mildly disguised attempt to get people to buy the thing as opposed to downloading it. but no-one would download an entire record right?
we will however have the cd for sale on march 5 in philadelphia at the north star bar. this is your chance to get the record with the dvd an entire two weeks before anyone else, which is kinda cool. we are playing the show with pissnvinegar, the look machine, and blackthroat. this is a small club and they will only sell two hundred and eighty tickets, so you wanna buy them soon. click here to buy tickets. we would love all of our friends to come to this. this is all ages.
we are also playing a show in west chester pennsylvania at our favorite bar rex’s on the 25th of february. this is a 21 plus show with the rackets, blackthroat, and all else failed, who i am frickin stoked to see. this should be a blast especially since our boys Rakus and Gene are planning a drinking contest with shots of jaegar and guiness. the first to get too drunk to work wins. the contest is one horrendous headache the next day. my money is on gene.
the us tour is nearly confirmed. we are touring with versus the mirror and the fully down, with one more to be announced very soon. we will post those dates as soon as we get them. we have also been added to the warped tour smartpunk stage which will be a blast, especially since emery is playing and chad and toby are very close.
there is an awesome interview up over at punknews.org it is very cool.

Seriously can anyone tell me what happened to the warped tour?? I remember when good bands used to play. Now there is crap after crap after crap. Seriously Relient K on the warped tour wtf?! But if you guys play the show near me I'll be there just to see you though then I'm out...

@marc: no it's for europe as well. Like Josh wrote: they want as many people as possible to watch it. It's been recorded in germany so it's on the album in europe as well...

What the heck ! I am the one who has to say it ! I am an Italian free-lance working in the UK and I listened to BSF for the first time a few days ago and I just can't stop listening to the bloody CD anymore. For the that's album of the year so far. Ok, it's only January but if someone can write songs with more talent, emphasys and emotions by Dec 31st, well..."Misery..." will have to be the second. But I highly doubt it. Best album in many months if not years. Keep up the good work, guys and I hope I will be able to review your gigs in the UK pretty soon ! Sorry for the O.T. but I had to write it somewhere...
