Before the Eulogy

evr120.jpg

Yep this is late coming. . . but Before the Eulogy is now available for sale. 20 songs, all of the early recordings in one nice package. And yes, the more observant have already noticed that Rocket Man is not really Rocket Man. . . a mistake was made. We'll see how that is solved exactly. We're not sure.

so if rocket man isn' relly rocket man...what is rocket man?

Posted by: ian at November 2, 2005 09:43 PM

rocket man isn't on the cd. and rocket man's place is being taken by Timothy or In Hope or something like that.

i don't like this kind of artwork, reminds me of one of this learning-is-fun-cd-roms about the history of the roman empire. you know, the kind people get from their parents and never use.
please choose an other style for the artwork of the new album

Posted by: Andy at November 3, 2005 06:24 AM

i'm sure they'll get right on that. any other suggestions?

Posted by: jason at November 3, 2005 09:05 AM

Hey andy, maybe you could sit down and teach the boys to play their instruments as well.

Posted by: Collin at November 3, 2005 09:46 AM

I like the style.

hey collin, that's just my weird personal opinion. i don't tell anybody that (s)he has to think the same about it.
freedome of speech and things like that, you know?

Posted by: Andy at November 3, 2005 12:36 PM

I thought I had finally killed that notion of free speech. I better get back to work.

I'm so excited to see Boys Sets Fire again... I've been waiting for two years, theya are finally touring in Pittsbugh. It would be awesome if I could get a quick interview for my paper's (New Castle News) music section. Can anyone hear my plea?

Posted by: Serena at November 15, 2005 06:50 AM

Before the Eulogy just winged its way here to the UK (more specifically my house) via the beauty of airmail, and I LOVE it!!

So psyched for the new album in Feb, and the subsequent tour... Now all I want for Christmas is:

a) BSF to announce a Manchester date in their UK tour

b) BSF to get on the bill at Download Festival 2006

You better make a note Santa, you bastard.

Three phrases should be among the most common in our daily usage. They are: Thank you, I am grateful and I appreciate.

Any word on what happened with "Timothy" taking the place of "Rocket Man"? That's way fucked up. I love both songs, but I expected "Rocket Man" on this CD (I don't know what would give me that idea; it's not like it's on the track listing or anything). Is this a communist conspiracy or something?

The world of search engine advertising is a relatively new area of expertise, but it allows campaigns to target on a whole new level. Taking Google as an example, the client must first establish the key words it wants to trigger its ad. An obvious choice would be to purchase both the candidate's and the opponent's names. Regardless of the fact that your ad will be displayed when the appropriate key words are entered, there is no cost to the campaign unless someone clicks on the ad, revealing the true value of search ads -- branding. Laredo explains that some people "live for clicks." However, as suggested in the group's training, just getting your name out there can be as effective, if not more so, than paying for each click.
